Montgomery Parks is hiring a
Trades Construction/Project Manager to provide operational leadership within the Facilities Management Division’s Structures section, a team of more than 40 employees responsible for building, maintaining, and repairing the park infrastructure that supports safe, accessible spaces across the park system. This position is based at the Green Farm Maintenance Facility in Gaithersburg, Maryland, with work extending across parks and facilities throughout Montgomery Parks. The Structures section delivers highly visible work, from facilities and restrooms to parking lots, paths, bridges, signage, and exhibits that staff and the community rely on every day.
The
Trades Construction/Project Manager leads day-to-day operations across five core areas: warehouse operations, carpentry, masonry and paint, heavy equipment and asphalt, and the exhibit shop. This role focuses on leading teams, coordinating work across trades, and ensuring projects are planned, prioritized, and delivered safely and efficiently. Through close partnership with other divisions, the Structures section supports ADA compliance, extends the life of park assets, and helps keep Montgomery Parks welcoming, functional, and ready for public use.
