Florida Glass Company has been serving Southwest Florida for over 25 years. We specialize in custom shower enclosures, mirrors, glass railings, table tops, windows, doors, and commercial storefronts. We're looking for a Measure Tech/Estimator to join our team — someone who can go to a customer's home, take accurate measurements, design the right solution, and close the deal.What You'll Do
- Travel to residential and commercial job sites across Lee, Collier, and Charlotte counties to measure and assess projects
- Measure openings for shower enclosures, mirrors, glass railings, windows, doors, and specialty glass
- Consult with homeowners and contractors on glass type, hardware finishes, and design options
- Build accurate quotes using our quoting software and present them to customers
- Follow up on estimates and close sales
- Coordinate with the office and install crew on job specs, timelines, and material orders
- Some office work — entering quotes, reviewing job details, communicating with customers
What We're Looking For
- Experience in glass & glazing, construction, or a related trade is a plus — but we'll train the right person
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately (to 1/16")
- Comfortable working with customers face-to-face — you're the first impression of our company
- Reliable, self-motivated, and organized — you'll manage your own schedule in the field
- Basic math skills and attention to detail (measurements have to be right — there's no fixing cut glass)
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided)
- Smartphone proficiency — you'll use apps for scheduling, photos, and quoting
