We’re looking for a warm, energetic Pod Leader to guide a small group of 5–8 children (ages 2–4) in a fun, engaging learning environment at a private home in View Heights (Los Angeles, CA 90043). Starting in August.
Schedule: 7:30 AM–11:30 AM, 3 mornings per week
● 7:30–8:00 AM: Classroom prep and activity setup
● 8:00–11:00 AM: Lead and supervise the children’s learning pod
● 11:00–11:30 AM: Clean up and reset the space
Pay Range based on experience: $30-37 hour
Responsibilities
● Plan and lead age-appropriate, play-based learning activities
● Foster a warm, safe, and engaging environment for children ages 2–4
● Support children’s social, emotional, and early developmental growth
● Supervise indoor and outdoor play while maintaining safety
● Prepare the learning space before children arrive and clean/reset the space after each session
● Communicate with parents as needed regarding the day’s activities
Basic Qualifications
● Experience working with children ages 2–4
● Reliable, punctual, and organized
● Patient, nurturing, and engaging
● Strong communication skills
● Able to create a safe, positive learning environment
Preferred Qualifications
● Early Childhood Education coursework or degree
● Preschool, Montessori, Reggio Emilia, or learning pod experience
● CPR and First Aid certification
● Experience leading small groups of young children
● Passion for play-based, child-centered learning
Pay: $30.00 - $37.00 per hour
