POSITION: Substitute Registered Nurse (RN)
LOCATION: Districtwide
REPORTS TO: Health Services Coordinator
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS: Provides general health care services to students within the Hartford Public School system.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut.
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school for nurses.
- Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Prior nursing experience in an educational environment preferred.
- Knowledge of school health procedures, i.e. state and federal mandates.
- Must have transportation.
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Current and valid State of Connecticut Registered Nurse license
- Current and valid CPR certification
SALARY AND TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: $45.00 per hour.
