Nail Technician Assistant | Salon Apprentice

This opportunity is ideal for someone who already has clients but wants more than simply renting a space. We are looking for a nail professional who wants to continue building their brand, strengthen client retention, attract new clientele, and be part of a salon that is equally invested in their growth.
At Artistry Salon Studio, you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside an experienced Master Nail Professional, continue developing your technique, and gain additional insight into the business side of building a strong and sustainable clientele.
We’re looking for someone who is confident in their craft, takes pride in the client experience, understands the importance of marketing themselves, and is motivated to grow.
What You’ll Be Doing
Artistry Salon Studio
Client & Service Support
- Welcome clients and help create a professional, comfortable salon experience Prepare clients and service areas before appointments Assist with gel and polish removal, pedicure preparation, and other pre-service needs Prepare pedicure bowls, nail stations, products, tools, and supplies Help maintain an efficient service flow between appointments
Salon Operations & Sanitation
- Complete our hands-on onboarding and salon training program Properly clean, disinfect, package, and organize nail tools and implements Maintain sanitation standards throughout all service areas Restock products and supplies as needed Wash, fold, and organize salon towels Reset nail and pedicure stations between clients Assist with light salon upkeep, including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and maintaining clean common areas
Learning & Professional Development
- Shadow and learn directly from an experienced nail professional Strengthen your knowledge of nail preparation, product application, sanitation, client care, and service timing Learn how to create a professional client experience that encourages retention and rebooking Receive feedback and coaching designed to help you become more confident and efficient behind the chair Stay engaged with current nail trends, techniques, products, and services
Who We’re Looking For
Our ideal candidate is:
- Passionate about nails, beauty, and the client experience Coachable and genuinely interested in improving their craft Reliable, punctual, and ready to work Friendly, professional, and comfortable communicating with clients Able to take initiative without needing constant direction Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team Detail oriented and committed to maintaining a clean workspace Interested in building a long-term career within the beauty industry
A valid Cosmetology or Nail Technician License is preferred. Previous salon, spa, beauty school, or nail service experience is a plus.
