Responsibilities:

Operate manual lathes, mills and related shop equipment to produce precision metal parts.

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

Set up and adjust tooling, speeds, and feeds for optimal performance.

Verify dimensions and tolerances using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Collaborate with supervisors and engineers to meet production and quality goals.
Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of experience operating manual lathes and mills (Bridgeport or similar experience a plus).

Strong understanding of machining practices, materials, and measuring tools.

Ability to hold tight tolerances and produce high-quality work.

Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.

Basic math and blueprint-reading skills required.
