Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Cigar & Tobacco Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will serve as the go-to expert for all things related to cigars and tobacco products, providing exceptional customer service, sharing product knowledge, and creating engaging experiences for our clientele. Your enthusiasm for premium cigars and tobacco will help foster a welcoming environment while driving sales and brand loyalty.
Duties
- Manage, stock and receive all cigar and tobacco products
- Assist customers in selecting cigars and tobacco products by offering expert recommendations based on their preferences and needs
- Educate customers about different cigar varieties, flavors, and proper storage techniques
- Work with Retail Manager on social media by creating engaging content and promoting special events
- Participate in promotional events and tastings to increase brand awareness and customer engagement
- Collect customer feedback and sales data to identify trends, improve product offerings, and enhance overall store performance
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving issues efficiently, and ensuring a positive shopping experience
- Previous experience with cigar and tobacco products or retail sales is highly desirable, especially within specialty product environments
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences in person
- Ability to manage data collection related to sales trends or customer preferences for strategic decision-making
- A passion for cigars, tobacco products, or related lifestyle brands is essential to authentically connect with customers
