About the Role
As a Health, Safety, and Environmental Lead, you will spearhead the development and execution of comprehensive safety and environmental strategies to ensure regulatory compliance and foster a proactive safety culture. You will act as a key partner to leadership, driving initiatives that mitigate operational risks, minimize environmental impact, and enhance overall workplace safety performance.
Responsibilities-
Design and implement robust safety policies and environmental management systems to ensure full compliance with OSHA and EPA standards.

Conduct thorough risk assessments, safety audits, and site inspections to identify potential hazards and drive continuous improvement.

Lead detailed incident investigations and root cause analysis to develop effective corrective and preventive action plans.

Manage environmental programs, including air, water, and hazardous waste compliance, while championing sustainability efforts.

Facilitate engaging EHS training programs and safety orientations to empower employees at all levels.

Serve as the primary liaison for regulatory agencies, managing all necessary reporting and documentation requirements.

Analyze EHS performance data and KPIs to identify trends and support strategic decision-making across the organization.

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

5+ years of progressive experience managing EHS programs within a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Deep understanding of OSHA, EPA, and state-level environmental regulations.

Proven ability to lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.

Strong communication skills with the ability to influence safety culture across diverse teams.

Professional certifications such as CSP, OHST, or CIH.

Experience with ISO 14001 or ISO 45001 management systems.

Advanced degree in a relevant field.

Proficiency in utilizing EHS management software for data tracking and reporting.
