Position Overview
The Provider Enrollment Specialist will support the mission and vision of Five Rivers Health Center by managing the enrollment of all providers with the various insurance carriers as well as supporting the Billing Department with various billing tasks as assigned. The position requires adhering to the regulations and guidelines outlined by several regulatory bodies to verify claim compliance.
General Responsibilities
- Manage FRHC employed Providers Medicaid and Medicare enrollments timely and ensure they are appropriately linked to FRHC.
- Meet standard industry productivity metrics and complete regular peer-auditing procedures.
- Fielding and addressing staff, patient, and insurance company inquiries.
- Support improvement of the patient experience by promoting excellent customer service
- additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School diploma required
- Associated degree preferred
- 3+ years of healthcare billing required
- FQHC billing experience preferred
- Windows-based computer experience required
- Medical Terminology knowledge preferred
- Coding and EPIC experience preferred
