American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Medical/Surgical Cardiovascular Stepdown/Intermediate Care position in Wichita, KS, requiring at least 2 years of experience and a valid KS or compact RN license.

Work on a 38-bed Medical/Surgical Cardiovascular Stepdown/Intermediate Care unit

No drip titrations performed on this unit

Lab team handles blood specimen collection; IV team available for additional support, though RNs are expected to start IVs
-
No EKG performance or sheath discontinuation required
-
Telemetry with remote monitoring

Cerner OneChart EMR in use
-
Day shift: 07:00–19:30

13-week contract

Active KS or compact RN license required
-
BLS certification required; must be AHA-issued
-
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

IV insertion skills required
-
Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Current primary source license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address

Copy of Driver's License required for consideration

Two professional references required for consideration

Skills checklist required for consideration

NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred but not required

MOAB De-Escalation Training preferred but not required
