Maverick Marriage Therapy is seeking Part-time therapists to work with individuals & couples in our community.
We are looking for clinicians who are humble, take initiative, and are interested in learning & growth. Our therapists will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and provide them with the care they need. We are looking for warm, compassionate, and professional clinicians who are authentic, team players, and who like to work hard and play hard! We are seeking individuals with a warm and confident personality, able to communicate well with clients on consultation calls that lead to scheduling, and who are highly driven to see clients through the intake process and ongoing treatment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop relationships with clients and other professionals to ensure client care is provided accurately, respectfully, and effectively
- Work collaboratively with other therapists and clients to ensure appropriate treatment is provided
- Maintain accurate records of client care across the organization
- Maintain a professional image at all times
- Provide therapy to individuals and couples living in our community
- Maintain a schedule of all clients assigned to you
- Adhere to all policies and procedures of Maverick Marriage Therapy as well as HIPAA regulations regarding client confidentiality
- Adhere to all laws pertaining to the practice of psychology in Marietta, GA as well as all other laws governing the practice of psychology in public entities.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in relevant major field (Counseling, Psychology, Social work, etc)
- Minimum 1 year experience in couples counseling
- Availability for some evening & weekend hours
Additional Qualifications:
- Trained in Gottman level 1
- Trained in EMDR
- Experience with infidelity or affair recovery
- Experience using Simple Practice
