We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by overseeing maintenance activities and managing maintenance personnel.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIILITIES includes the following. Other duties may be assigned. This is a hands-on working supervisor position.
Directs the work activities of the maintenance department including work orders and all preventative maintenance inspections and maintains records of the production equipment
Oversee the management of spare parts inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels to support maintenance activities.
Knowledgeable of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, electronics and able to program ladder logic controllers.
Oversees capital expenditure items including equipment purchases, contracted labor and in-house construction and fabrication projects.
Directs and coordinates operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems within the plant.
Analyzes equipment failures, determines cause(s), and makes necessary adjustment or repairs.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure maintenance plans support production schedules and quality standards.
Ensures the maintenance of building, grounds and equipment.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervises associates in the Maintenance Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with NPNA policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include assisting in the interviewing process, hiring, and training associates; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree (BS) from four-year College or university in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with seven to ten years directly related experience and possessing a maintenance background; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
