QUALIFICATIONS
- Willingness to learn new skillsets.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Good basic math skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds and able to stand for up to 12 hours.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Overtime and weekend work required.
- Must be able to work all shifts.
- Must have reliable transportation, be punctual, and reliable
- Ability to take verbal and written instructions and follow documented work instructions
- Highly organized, self-motivated and can work independently
BASIC DESCRIPTION
This position will be responsible for performing secondary tasks related to machining operations. This includes but is not limited to the following: material handling, sawing materials, processing scrap materials, supplying cutting and lubricating oils to the machines, maintaining general cleanliness, light assembly, component washing, packaging, edge break, deburring, moving and replacing chip bins.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Handling raw material
- Lift Truck Operation (Certification Required)
- Component Washing & Packaging
- Light Assembly & Secondary Operations
- Performs daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment
- Processing machined chips & disposal
- Maintain a clean and safe shop/work area
- Additional duties as assigned
