We are seeking a dedicated Substitute ESL Teacher who is passionate about delivering exceptional instruction and supporting a diverse student body as needed.
Position Overview:
In this substitute teaching role, your primary responsibility will be to facilitate effective English language learning while maintaining a supportive and engaging classroom environment in the absence of regular instructors.
- Build strong rapport with students and collaborate effectively with peers to support a cohesive learning environment
- Demonstrate enthusiasm for English teaching and openness to instructional methods and program improvements
- Apply cultural sensitivity to ensure an inclusive classroom that respects diverse backgrounds
- Additional responsibilities may include lesson delivery, administering assessments, and providing timely student feedback
Qualifications:
- Native-like fluency in American English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in TESOL or related field, or a bachelor’s degree with a TESOL/CELTA certificate and at least one year of ESL teaching experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic familiarity with Zoom
- Experience teaching adults and managing group classes
- Ability to teach across proficiency levels (beginner to advanced)

Mondays–Thursdays
8:50 AM – 1:30 PM
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
