Position Overview:
We are seeking a poised, friendly, and organized Host/Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests. The ideal candidate has a natural sense of hospitality, strong communication skills, and the ability to keep calm under pressure.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival
- Manage reservations and seating to ensure efficient table flow
- Answer phone calls and assist with guest inquiries
- Communicate effectively with servers, managers, and kitchen staff
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming host stand and entry area
- Assist with light administrative or service duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous host/hostess experience in upscale or fine dining preferred (but will train the right candidate)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
