Position Overview
We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Cleaning Associate to help maintain a medical office building in Rochester Hills, MI. This is a part-time, TWO-DAY-PER-WEEK position - Tuesdays and Thursdays ONLY - approximately 4 hours per evening starting at 6:00 PM. This is a healthcare environment that requires high attention to detail and consistent, thorough work.
Schedule
- Tuesdays and Thursdays only (2 evenings per week)
- Approximately 4 hours per shift, starting at 6:00 PM
- Consistent, predictable weekly schedule
Key Responsibilities
- Vacuum all carpeted floors and runners; wash, mop, and vacuum fluids on all hard-surface flooring
- Clean and disinfect restrooms including toilets, urinals, sinks, chrome fixtures, mirrors, and all high-touch surfaces
- Replenish towels, tissue, hand soap, and sanitary products from building stock
- Empty and clean all waste receptacles, replace liners, and clean adjacent walls
- Maintain building entrances free of debris
- Dust windowsills, fixtures, vents, furniture, and high-touch surfaces
- Clean all glass doors, handles, sidelights, entry glass, and door frames
- Wipe or polish stainless steel and bright metal surfaces
- Spot clean walls, light switches, doors, and baseboards
- Follow established safety and sanitation procedures for medical office environments
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to supervisor promptly
Requirements
- Reliable transportation to Rochester Hills, MI
- Available Tuesday and Thursday evenings starting at 6:00 PM
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform repetitive tasks
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Previous cleaning experience is a plus but not required
- Healthcare or medical office cleaning experience is a plus
