Responsibilities
- Operate laundry equipment efficiently, including washers, dryers, and specialty cleaning machines such as dry cleaning units
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing with precision and care
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to uphold cleanliness standards
- Assist with the collection and delivery of laundry items across different hotel departments or guest rooms
- Conduct routine inspections of laundry supplies and equipment to ensure optimal operation and safety compliance
- Support the housekeeping team by handling special cleaning requests or urgent laundry needs promptly
- Maintain accurate records of laundry cycles, inventory levels, and cleaning procedures to ensure efficiency and accountability
Qualifications
- Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is highly preferred
- Knowledge of laundry techniques including dry cleaning processes and stain removal methods
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and quality standards
- Ability to operate laundry machinery safely and effectively
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
