We are currently seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners (NP) or Physician Assistants (PA) for locum tenens coverage at an established Urgent Care Walk-in type clinic in the Griffin, GA area.Position Details Setting: Urgent Care / Walk-In Clinic Patient Population: Adult and pediatric patients (ages 2 and up) Schedule: Flexible shifts available — days, evenings, and weekends Assignment Type: Locum Tenens (temporary/contract coverage) Compensation: Call or reply for detailsResponsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and injuries in a fast-paced urgent care setting Provide care for pediatric patients ages 2 and up, including common illnesses, minor injuries, and well-child concerns Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, X-rays, etc.) Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans Document patient encounters accurately and in a timely manner Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure quality patient care and efficient patient flowRequirements Active Georgia NP or PA license (or ability to obtain) Current DEA registration BLS/ACLS certification Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, family medicine, or primary care preferred Comfort treating pediatric patients (ages 2+) required Malpractice/tail coverage providedWhy Work With MedCare Staffing?
