About Illinois Wildlife Connections
Illinois Wildlife Connections is a premier whitetail hunting outfitter in Southern Illinois, welcoming hunters from across the country each season. We are looking for a dependable, hardworking, and organized seasonal cook to help provide an exceptional experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve daily lunch and dinner for approximately 25 guests and staff each meal.
- Plan and organize menus.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen.
- Perform daily cleaning duties throughout the lodge, including the kitchen, dining area, bathrooms, and common areas.
- Wash dishes and keep kitchen equipment clean.
- Monitor food inventory and assist with grocery shopping or ordering as needed.
- Ensure meals are prepared and served on schedule.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
Qualifications
- Previous cooking or kitchen experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to prepare quality meals for groups of approximately 25 people.
- Strong work ethic with excellent organizational skills.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- Friendly attitude with a passion for hospitality.
