Compensation: $35.00

Position Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse provides quality patient care utilizing the nursing process under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse and or Licensed Physician.
Essential Functions
- Participates in assessment/reassessments of patient(s) by observing, collecting, recording and reporting objective and subjective data in an accurate and timely manner. Reports the condition and/ or change in condition of the patient(s) as well as signs and symptoms that deviate from normal health status.
- Assists in developing the nursing plan of care.
- Assists in implementing the nursing plan of care within the concepts of the Licensed Practical Nurse curriculum with consideration for safety in practice; according to established prioritization of needs; documenting and communicating nursing interventions and responses of patient(s) to care.
- Assists in evaluating patient(s) responses; document and communicate evaluation data to appropriate health care team members; contributes to the modification of the nursing plan of care on the based on ongoing evaluation of the patient(s).
- Collaborates with team members by sharing relevant information; demonstrating initiative, and supporting team decisions and the work life of the department.
- Performs other related duties as assigned within scope of practice after demonstrating required competencies or completing requisite training.
Qualifications
- Must have an LPN Degree from an Accredited Institution
- Current LPN License
- Must have BLS Certification
- Strongly prefer 1(+) year of experience
