Land Park Veterinary Hospital is looking for a full-time veterinary assistant. Duties will include, but are not limited to assisting veterinarian during examinations and procedures, receptionist duties, and cleaning and maintaining kennels.
Experience is a plus but training is provided.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be able to work a schedule which might include some weekend and holiday work
- Reliable transportation to office
- Must successfully pass criminal background check
Skills and Abilities:
- Must enjoy and be comfortable working with primarily dogs and cats of all sizes, temperament and breeds, including handling and lifting animals as necessary
- Present a professional appearance and positive attitude
- Punctuality, dependability and the ability to work cooperatively with staff and clients highly valued

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
