Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential, commercial and retail settings, demonstrating proficiency in electrical systems, troubleshooting, and installation. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for ensuring that electrical systems are installed and maintained to the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in compliance with local codes and regulations.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and voltage meters.
- Troubleshoot electrical problems by diagnosing faults in wiring, fixtures, and equipment.
- Work on high voltage systems safely while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure seamless project execution.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Electrician, preferably in a commercial and retail setting.
- 5+ years experience
- Must have own car
- WILLING TO TRAVEL to all 5 boroughs and the tristate area
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in electrical work.
- OSHA certification
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Pay will be discussed based on skill and knowledge of the electrical field
