Dental Assistant with Orthodontic Assisting Experience

About Us: Main Street Smiles is a premier dental practice offering comprehensive dental, orthodontic, and cosmetic care. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Assistant with orthodontic assisting experience to join our dynamic team.
Job Description: As a Dental Assistant with orthodontic assisting experience, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dentists, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing patients for dental, orthodontic, and cosmetic procedures
- Assisting the dentist during treatments
- Taking digital dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Performing routine orthodontic adjustments
- Assisting with cosmetic procedures such as Botox, Xeomin, lip fillers, PDO threads, and Emface/Exion
- Sterilizing and organizing instruments and equipment
- Educating patients on oral hygiene, orthodontic care, and cosmetic procedures
- Maintaining accurate patient records (Open dental experience a plus, but not req)
- Some front desk tasks as needed when requested
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of dental assisting experience
- Orthodontic assisting experience a huge plus
- Proficiency in dental software (OpenDental) is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Timeliness (the practice depends on you being on time!)
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred

Hours:
- Mondays: 10:30 AM-7:30 PM
- Fridays: 7:30 AM-2:30 PM
