Boyd Company is seeking a Business Analyst with experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 and 365 to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the heavy equipment industry and/or related industries, and a proven track record of successful project implementation.
The Business Analyst performs analysis of the business process(es) and user needs, business requirement documentation and workflows, cost/benefit analysis translating into proper system requirement specifications. The Business Analyst work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action. The Business Analyst formulates and defines systems and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. In this role, you will devise and modify procedures and processes to solve complex problems taking into consideration technology equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results, as well as validating the benefits achieved from solution implementation. The Business Analyst must understand department, segments, organizational strategy, and operating objectives, including the relationships of the related areas. The ability to work in ambiguous situations with minimal direction. Must be a self-starter and have the initiative to take on tasks and projects while following established guidelines and standard operating procedures.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Information Systems, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 and/or D365 in the heavy equipment industry or related industries and business processes
- Travel to branches or other locations as required to perform assigned duties
- Maintain a valid motor vehicle operators' license
- Maintain a high degree of discretion in handling confidential/sensitive information and exercise initiative in all assigned areas, high integrity and accountability standards
- Working knowledge of the ERP and connected systems (Microsoft Dynamics AX and 365)
- Knowledge and experience with software testing levels and processes
- Strong documenting skills
- Experience leading implementation projects from start to finish
- Experience with business analysis, requirements gathering, and documentation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic agile environment
- Microsoft certifications in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 and/or 365 are a plus but not required
- Willingness to learn and be trained
- Excellent interpersonal skills, and written and verbal communication skills with team members, customers & stakeholders
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment with rapidly changing priorities and demands
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Analyze business and system problems and formulate appropriate solutions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop requirements for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 and 365
- Lead the implementation of MS AX 2012 and D365 projects, including requirement gathering, configuration, testing and training
- Provide end-user support for ERP and connected systems, including troubleshooting and issue resolution
- Participate in the development of policies and procedures to ensure proper use and maintenance of the ERP
- Collaborate with the Information Services team members and vendors to ensure proper integration(s) with other systems
- Identify and recommend process improvements to optimize the use of the ERP and connected systems
- Project management experience and software testing experience
- Perform the first levels of software testing
- Validate new solutions to ensure the integrity and accuracy of the data presented
- Provide training on the use of solutions to end users
- Develop requests and specifications for the Information Services team and/or vendors,
- Help prioritize requests and specifications to align with the overall business goals
- Experience in problem and process analysis
- Experience with Microsoft office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams and SharePoint
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving customer experiences
- Recommend to manager ideas to improve the departments operating procedures or business practices and participate in and support continuous improvement of all related activities and processes
- Project a positive image by interacting with fellow employees, customers, and management in a cooperative, supportive, and courteous manner; display a professional attitude; comply with company dress code
- Create and maintain good communications (verbally and in writing) and relationships with other Company departments, branches, employees, outside vendors, and customers by addressing and resolving concerns quickly
