This district welcomes both experienced SLPs and recent graduates with their Clinical Fellowship (CF)—district supervision is available to support you as you build your career. Caseload preferences are valued; specific assignments will be tailored based on your interests and discussed during the interview, with a manageable student caseload of up to 35.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active North Carolina SLP license (required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility to complete Clinical Fellowship (CF)
- Prior experience in school settings preferred
- Experience or comfort working with students with autism (AU) and low cognitive disabilities is strongly preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech and language services to students
- Develop and implement IEP goals in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and maintain documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Consult with educators and families to support student progress and maximize educational outcomes
- Participate in case management responsibilities as required
