Technical PROFORMA Course Developer‑Instructor
The Technical PROFORMA Intelligence Course Developer‑Instructor is responsible for course development and instruction on technical PROFORMA signals analysis (PSA) of machine‑generated, formatted data communications found in military C4ISR, civil, industrial, commercial, and personal systems. The role focuses on teaching the analysis of information conveyed from sensors, control systems, and automated reporting formats.
The Technical PROFORMA Training Content Developer‑Instructor will design, develop, validate, and deliver high‑quality training focused on machine‑generated formatted data, signal structures, analytical workflows, and reporting methodologies used in modern PSA disciplines.
Qualifications
A Technical PROFORMA Developer‑Instructor candidate must have 2 or more years of technical teaching experience and/or curriculum development, such as:
Military technical training
Academic or industry classroom instruction (faculty/adjunct)
On‑the‑job (OJT) technical instruction
Technical PROFORMA Course Developer‑Instructor Requirements
If the candidate does not have a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a technical science discipline (Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physical Sciences, or comparable field):
8 or more years of technical PSA experience within the past 10 years are required.
If the candidate does have a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a technical science discipline:
4 or more years of technical PSA experience within the past 10 years are required.
Key Responsibilities
The Technical PROFORMA Developer‑Instructor will:
- Develop PROFORMA‑focused training courses, modules, and instructional materials
- Create accurate analytical workflows, signal relationships, data‑field interpretations, and formatted‑message analysis guides
- Analyze machine‑generated formatted reporting from multiple communication systems and automated sources
- Review, validate, and update course content for accuracy, clarity, and relevance to modern PSA practices
- Deliver instruction to technical audiences and collect structured feedback for continuous curriculum improvement
- Apply established PSA terminology, standards, and formatting conventions within training materials
- Incorporate multiple data sources into analytical exercises and instructional products
- Collaborate with subject‑matter experts and training stakeholders to enhance course effectiveness
- Maintain current knowledge of emerging tools, analytical methods, data formats, and mission‑relevant technologies
Education / Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred, but equivalent experience may be accepted
Relevant certifications, technical coursework, or PSA‑related project experience may substitute for formal education
Clearance Requirement
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required
Salary
- $135,000-153,000
- Salary range is dependent on experience, technical depth, qualifications, and contract requirements.
