Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Triaxle Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a triaxle dump truck to transport and deliver construction materials, debris, and other freight across various over-the-road (OTR) routes. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, adherence to safety regulations, and ability to manage heavy loads will ensure timely deliveries and smooth operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale projects while maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
Duties
- Operate a triaxle dump truck safely across designated routes, including OTR driving routes, ensuring compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards
- Load, secure, and unload freight such as construction materials, hazardous goods (Hazmat), or other cargo using manual handling techniques and proper equipment
- Use GPS navigation systems to follow optimized delivery routes, ensuring punctuality and efficiency in delivery schedules
- Transport refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or tractor-trailers as required for specific cargo types including dangerous goods or hazardous materials
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, and delivery documentation in accordance with FMCSA regulations
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips; report any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly
- Assist with logistics cargo handling during loading and unloading processes to ensure proper load distribution and safety compliance
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record; experience with manual transmission preferred
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, particularly with tractor-trailers or heavy-duty trucks such as triaxle dump trucks
- Knowledge of DOT regulations, hazardous materials regulations (Hazmat), and safety protocols for dangerous goods transportation
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning for efficient delivery execution
- Ability to manually handle heavy loads during loading/unloading activities while adhering to safety standards
- Experience with freight transportation including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or automobile transportation is a plus
- Strong understanding of truck loading/unloading procedures and logistics cargo handling practices

Pay: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour
