Overview:
HHF is seeking a mid-career Project Manager to join our Planning Team in Honolulu, working throughout the Pacific. The firm offers flexible hybrid (remote or office) work arrangements and a generous benefits package.
The position requires experience providing oversight and quality control for the preparation of documents including reports, studies, plans, specifications, and cost estimates and collaborating with and guiding multidisciplinary teams. Travel may be required. Professional licensure as an architect or engineer is preferred.

Primary Responsibilities/Activities:
- Guide diverse teams and provide specialized technical input to studies.
- Coordinate effectively with client representatives, project consultants, and HHF team members.
- Develop study/project-specific approaches to facilitate high-quality cost-effective work.
- Collaborate with other team members and support collaboration for project concepts.
- Participate in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables and technical specifications.
- Work under the supervision of a project Principal.
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Engineering.
- 10–15+ years of professional experience, with demonstrated success managing complex projects.
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License is required to visit project sites and clients when public transportation is not available. Selected candidate will undergo a Motor Vehicle Records review.
- Proven ability to prepare and QC site development plans.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Technical expertise with industry-standard software (e.g., Revit, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite).
Desired Qualifications:
- Professional Licensure in the State of Hawai‘i: Architecture or Engineering
- Relevant project experience with Department of Defense (DoD) planning.
- Familiarity with federal, state, and county regulations, permitting, and construction practices.
- Experience with ArcGIS.
