Rentafence Wholesale is looking for a Sales Representative to join our team! The Sales Representative position is responsible for the sales and management of customer accounts for Rentafence Wholesale. They must provide pleasant, professional, and expedient communication with customers and corporate representatives. The Sales Representative will work as a tight-knit team with other Rentafence Wholesale team members as well as management to service fence contractors and retailers by selling fence products. The incumbent of this position must be self-motivated and able to meet and exceed stipulated service, sales, and retention goals. The ability to sell and make outbound calls to upgrade clients is a vital role in this position.
Essential Job Functions
- Manage incoming calls and respond to inquiries for estimates and quotes in a professional and expedient manner
- Provide prompt, cheerful, professional, and helpful customer service
- Use CRM to manage customer base
- Assist with scheduling freight for orders placed
- Coordinate with order fulfillment team on scheduling deliveries
- Assist with marketing campaigns to drive and increase revenue
- Assist with covering phones on weekends as needed
- Make ongoing outgoing calls to potential leads and take a key role in building our book of business
- Source new customers and follow-up on leads
- Achieve sales goals by identifying need, analyzing the market, and initiating a sales plan
- Expertly manage the needs of customers and ensure customer satisfaction
- Ensure customer and vendor file integrity (documents, communication notations, etc.)
- Make collection calls as needed
- Help build company image by positively collaborating with customers, community, and employees
- Ensure high safety standards at all times
- Create and maintain a positive, safe, and effective work environment
- Other projects and tasks as assigned by management
Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Competences:
- A minimum of two years of experience in inside sales or customer service ideally within a building materials contractor and/or retailer environment
- Strong sales skills to build a relationship with potential and existing customers
- Experience with customer billing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
- Advanced knowledge of MS office suite of programs.
- Ability to learn and understand new software applications
- Ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative/team-based management style preferred
- Superior interpersonal verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage yourself and assigned tasks effectively.
- Must possess and maintain a have valid class C driver license with a satisfactory and safe driving record
- Should be a resourceful person and perform in a professional manner
- Knowledge of all company assets in inventory
- Knowledge of proper cleaning and repair of those assets
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating instructions and procedure manuals
- Ability to write simple reports and business correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, vendors, & other employees
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to calculate rates, discounts, interest, percentages, etc.
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, & ratios to practical situations
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- Bilingual is a plus

The expected pay rate for this position is $25.00 per hour + commission. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience.
