Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent patient care and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of dental health. This role involves diagnosing and treating various dental issues, performing procedures, and ensuring a comfortable experience for patients of all ages. The successful candidate will be proficient in various dental software systems and possess strong clinical skills.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Perform a range of dental procedures, including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and dental extractions.
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care strategies.
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuous education and training.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
- Proficiency in dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology.
- Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus, along with skills in root canal therapy and dental fabrication.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
- Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable.
