ABOUT THE ROLE
Magnolia Therapy Solutions is hiring a Pediatric Registered Behavior Technician in the Polaris/Columbus area.
We are looking for someone who is playful, dependable, compassionate, coachable, and comfortable working hands-on with young children in a pediatric therapy clinic.
Our clinic takes a collaborative approach to treatment, bringing together expertise in applied behavior analysis, speech-language pathology, and child development. We value therapy that is evidence-based, individualized, respectful, and centered around the child and family.
In this role, you will help children build communication, play, social, and daily living skills through developmentally appropriate, play-based therapy.
Ideal candidates are available Monday–Friday during daytime hours and are looking for meaningful clinical experience with young children.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide 1:1 ABA-based support using play-based and NET strategies
- Implement treatment goals under BCBA supervision
- Support transitions, waiting, emotional regulation, and early learning skills
- Collect session data and document progress
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
- Collaborate with BCBAs, SLPs, caregivers, and other members of the clinical team
- Participate in ongoing supervision, training, and professional development
- Maintain professionalism, consistency, and reliability
QUALIFICATIONS
- Active RBT certification
- Genuine interest in working with young children with autism and developmental delays
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with children in any setting
- Comfortable engaging in play-based therapy, sitting on the floor, singing, moving, and following the child’s lead
- Willingness to learn Natural Environment Teaching, developmental strategies, and ABA-based intervention
- Ability to receive real-time feedback, coaching, and modeling during sessions
- Reliable attendance, professional communication, and consistent follow-through
- BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass required background checks
SCHEDULE & WORK EXPECTATIONS (PLEASE READ)
- Clinic-based only
- Schedule Options (Clinic-Based): Schedules are consistent once assigned.
- Preference given to candidates who can commit to a stable block.
- Morning Block: 8:30 AM–12:30 PM
- Full Day: 8:30 AM–4:30 PM
- Afternoon Block: 12:30 PM–4:30 PM
