REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
KY Teaching Certification
Working knowledge of laws, statues, regulations, policies, and procedures related to schools
Effective communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Effective organizational skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Interpersonal skills using tact, patience, and courtesy both with adults and students
Coaching experience in coaching Leader in Me programs
Ability to work cooperatively with others and adhere to high standards of confidentiality
Capable of working with students, administrators, schools and district leadership
Experience in a diverse workplace
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides specialized expertise and assumes responsibility for general administration and maintenance of the
District’s Leader in Me (LIM) program in partnership with school administrators, leadership teams and staff to
ensure they achieve high-leverage results, aligned to their school goals. Coordinates and builds exceptional
relationships with LIM schools, families and community.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES & EVALUATION CRITERIA
Supporting and engaging all stakeholders
Moving schools to Lighthouse status and achieving Legacy Lighthouse Certification
Understands and directs others to follow oral and written directions
Deliver virtual or onsite coaching
Engage with Principals & Lighthouse Coordinators, from multiple LIM schools through Community Learning
Days.
Facilitate Relationship Building
Provide planning and student voice coordination of student leadership opportunities
Plan and coordinate LIM Lighthouse School visits
Attention to details, logistics, calendar management, *& the ability to coordinate communication amount several
parties.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Special Services, School Psychologists, and/or
Superintendent or his/her designee
