Description:
Join our growing team as an Electrician Apprentice or Journeyman supporting utility-grade solar construction projects across the region. This is a travel position, ideal for individuals ready to work hard, learn fast, and grow within the solar industry. You’ll work under licensed electricians to assist with electrical installations on large-scale solar fields.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with installation of electrical systems for solar PV arrays
- Pull wire, terminate connections, install conduit, junction boxes, and panels
- Maintain safety and quality standards on all job sites
- Work closely with licensed electricians and crew leads to complete assigned tasks
Requirements:
- Willingness and ability to travel for extended periods
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and desire to learn the electrical trade
- Basic hand tools
- OSHA 10 (or willing to obtain)
- TDLR Electrician Apprentice or able to obtain
Bonus Qualifications:
- Experience operating heavy equipment (e.g., skid steer, mini excavator, lull, etc.)
- Prior experience in solar or construction environments
- NCCER certification or equivalent is a plus
