Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to enhance their dining experience
- Set tables efficiently with clean linens, utensils, glassware, and condiments in accordance with restaurant standards
- Clear and reset tables promptly after guests leave, ensuring sanitation and cleanliness are maintained at all times
- Buss tables by removing used dishes, glasses, and trash, supporting smooth service flow
- Assist in food delivery by carrying trays safely and accurately to guest tables while practicing proper manual handling techniques
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including sweeping floors and sanitizing surfaces regularly
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and team members to coordinate service needs and ensure guest satisfaction
Experience
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a positive attitude above all
- Knowledge of sanitation standards, food safety practices, and proper table setting procedures is advantageous
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) safely and efficiently
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members
- Experience with catering or hospitality services will be considered a plus but is not mandatory
- A proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and organization in a fast-paced setting
