Duties and responsibilities:
As the Kitchen Manager, you will:
- Collaborate with clients, and help them learn basic cooking and life skills. Oversight of clients volunteering in kitchen.
- Work with a multidisciplinary team of Social Workers, Nurses, Nutritionists, Facilities staff, and more.
- Prepare Lunch and Dinner - Monday - Friday
- Regular Inspections of Kitchen
- Ordering and Inventory Management
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 11am-7pm
Program Description: Hospitality House is an intensive residential treatment program for substance use disorder licensed by the New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports. We are dedicated to the goal of reducing the negative impacts of addiction through personal growth and change. The program serves men over the age of 18, and is predicated on evidence-based treatment. Hospitality House is currently inviting applications for a full-time Kitchen Manager position. Hospitality House is a 48-bed program and treatment is voluntary.
Minimum qualifications:
- ServSafe certified
- Experience working with individuals with substance use disorders would be ideal but not required.
