About the Role:
We are seeking a diligent and skilled Residential Security Installer to join our team. In this role, you will install, program, and service residential security systems throughout the Greater Houston area. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with modern wireless systems as well as legacy hardwired panels. You will drive a company vehicle to customer homes, providing excellent service and ensuring their peace of mind.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, program, and troubleshoot residential security systems.
- Configure and service Honeywell, 2GIG, and Qolsys products.
- Maintain, takeover, and service legacy DSC systems.
- Educate customers on how to operate their security applications.
- Drive safely to daily residential service and installation appointments.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in the security industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficient with Honeywell, 2GIG, Qolsys, and legacy DSC hardware.
- Legal/Regulatory: Must be eligible and able to be registered with the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) / Regulatory Services Division.
- Driving Record: Valid driver’s license with a clean, safe driving history.
- Physical Ability: Capable of lifting and carrying at least 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and working in tight spaces.
- Personal Tools: Must provide your own standard hand and power tools.
