Job Summary
We are seeking a professional, customer-focused Patient Service Representative to join our outpatient clinic team in Playa Vista. This role serves as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while supporting front office operations, scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and referral processing. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients in person and over the phone
- Welcome patients and provide outstanding customer service while addressing concerns and escalating issues when appropriate
- Check patients in and out, collect co-payments, issue receipts, and reconcile payments
- Verify patient demographics and insurance information using CS-Link/Epic
- Schedule appointments and complete patient registration
- Process, submit, and track referrals and insurance authorizations for multiple insurance plans
- Manage patient and provider correspondence
- Explain office policies, procedures, and services to patients
- Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace in accordance with department guidelines
- Perform other front office administrative duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in an outpatient clinic or medical office setting
- 2+ years of recent experience as a Patient Service Representative
- Experience using CS-Link/Epic electronic health record system
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Experience working with medical insurance, referrals, and benefit plans
- Ability to read, understand, and respond to detailed oral and written instructions
- Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills

Pay & Schedule
Location: Playa Vista, CA 90094
Pay: $25.00–$27.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time
Monday–Friday: 11:30 AM – 10:00 PM
Saturday–Sunday: 8:30 AM – 7:00 PM
Must be available to work every other weekend.
