Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will play a key role in creating an exceptional guest experience by ensuring guest rooms and public areas are clean, comfortable, and meet Choice Hotels brand standards. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and provides friendly service to guests and team members.
Responsibilities
- Clean and service assigned guest rooms according to Choice Hotels standards.
- Make beds, change linens, replace towels, and replenish guest amenities.
- Vacuum, dust, sweep, mop, and sanitize guest rooms and bathrooms.
- Clean mirrors, windows, furniture, and fixtures.
- Empty trash and dispose of waste properly.
- Maintain clean and organized housekeeping carts and storage areas.
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and damaged items promptly.
- Handle lost and found items according to hotel procedures.
- Greet guests courteously and respond to requests in a professional manner.
- Follow all hotel safety, sanitation, and brand standards.
- Assist with cleaning public areas and laundry duties as needed.
- Perform other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Previous hotel housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 30 pounds, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
