Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Infant / Toddler Teacher to inspire young minds and foster a nurturing, engaging learning environment for our youngest learners. Responsibilities
- Lead daily classroom activities that promote early childhood development, including literacy education, physical activity, and social skills.
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards that support childhood growth milestones.
- Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement strategies to create a respectful and inclusive environment.
- Collaborate with families to communicate children’s progress, developmental needs, and classroom experiences effectively.
- Support special education needs by adapting activities for children requiring early intervention or additional assistance.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Conduct assessments of children’s developmental progress through observations and standardized testing when appropriate.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with infants and toddlers in a childcare or preschool setting.
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles, including Montessori methods and literacy education techniques.
- Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management strategies.
- Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention programs, and child welfare standards.
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Demonstrated ability to create inclusive learning environments supporting diverse learning needs.
- Certification in early childhood education or related field preferred; relevant coursework or training in childhood development is a plus.
