RN Duties
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes
- Perform patient assessments and monitor changes in condition
- Administer medications, injections, IV therapy, and prescribed treatments
- Perform wound care, dressing changes, catheter care, and other skilled nursing procedures
- Develop and update individualized patient care plans
- Educate patients and caregivers on medications, treatments, and self-care
- Coordinate care with physicians, LPNs, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Follow all patient safety, infection-control, HIPAA, and regulatory requirements
Skills
- Valid Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Home health nursing experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
- Experience with medications, wound care, IVs, and other skilled nursing procedures
- Ability to work independently in patients’ homes
- Strong communication and patient-education skills
- Excellent organization, time management, and documentation skills
- Compassionate and professional approach to patient care
- Ability to manage multiple patients and priorities in a fast-paced environment
