We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Private Caregiver to provide personalized support and assistance to an individual in their home. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality care that promotes comfort, safety, and independence while maintaining dignity and respect at all times. Key Responsibilities
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
- Administer medication reminders and monitor for any changes in health or behavior.
- Offer companionship and emotional support, engaging the client in meaningful activities or conversation.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, tidying, and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
- Assist with transportation to appointments, errands, and social activities (if applicable).
- Communicate regularly with family members or healthcare professionals about the client’s condition and needs.
- Adhere to confidentiality and professional standards of care at all times.
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in caregiving, home health, or personal support assistance (preferred).
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Reliable, trustworthy, and patient with a genuine interest in helping others.
- Ability to manage time and responsibilities effectively.
- Background check and clearance to work as a Home care Aide
- Pass a drug test
- Have reliable transportation and a valid drivers license
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift or assist with transfers (up to [160 lbs] and under)
- Ability to stand, walk, or move for extended periods
