We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our business, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales performance. As an Assistant Manager, you will assist in managing staff, overseeing inventory control, and maintaining a positive work environment that fosters employee growth and development. Dog handling experience is a must.
Duties
- Assist the Manager in daily operations and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Support sales initiatives by actively engaging with customers to promote products and services.
- Conduct employee orientation and training for new hires to ensure they understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Participate in recruiting efforts to attract qualified candidates for open positions.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and assist with inventory control processes.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance overall store performance.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or management role is preferred but not required.
- Strong math skills for cash handling and inventory management tasks.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building relationships with customers.
- Ability to sell products effectively while understanding customer needs.
- Experience in employee orientation and training is a plus.
- Knowledge of inventory control processes is beneficial.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide team members effectively.
