An opportunity is available for a Pharmacist to support outpatient hospital retail pharmacy operations in Winamac, IN. This contract role spans 8 to 13 weeks, working 4 to 5 days per week from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The position provides a dynamic work environment alongside a Pharmacy Manager, one full-time pharmacist, and two pharmacy technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately fill medication orders and verify products prepared by technicians before dispensing.
- Maintain the security of pharmacy supplies and controlled substances in compliance with regulations.
- Enter patient orders and information with precision using Pioneer RX, enhancing workflow accuracy.
- Collaborate effectively with pharmacy staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current Indiana pharmacy license required.
- Prior experience in pharmacy practice, especially in outpatient or retail settings.
- Familiarity with Pioneer RX order entry system is preferred, supporting efficient pharmacy management.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining patient safety and confidentiality.
Schedule:
- 4 to 5 days per week.
