Dippold Marble & Granite is looking for a skilled CAD or CNC operator to join our fabrication team. This is not an entry-level position. We are seeking someone who already has hands-on experience working with CAD software or CNC machinery — ideally in granite, stone, or sheet metal cutting.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Program and operate robotic CNC equipment to cut granite slabs with precision
- Use CAD software to lay out cuts from customer drawings and specifications
- Translate design files into machine-readable cutting paths
- Work closely with the shop team to ensure quality and accuracy
- Maintain safety and efficiency on the shop floor
What You Need to Have:
- Experience with CAD and/or CNC operation (required)
- Background in granite, stone, or sheet metal cutting (strongly preferred)
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Bilingual in Spanish is a strong plus
- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic

Granite Countertop Installer
Job Summary
Dippold Marble & Granite is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented skilled Granite Countertop Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience measuring, transporting, and installing granite, quartz, marble, and other natural or engineered stone countertops. This position requires excellent craftsmanship, the ability to work safely, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Load, transport, and unload stone countertops safely.
- Install granite, quartz, marble, and solid surface countertops in residential and commercial properties.
- Verify measurements and ensure accurate placement and fit.
- Level, shim, and secure countertops according to company standards.
- Perform seam work, polishing, and finishing for a clean, professional appearance.
- Cut sink openings and make minor field modifications when necessary.
- Install backsplashes, sinks, faucets, and related accessories as needed.
- Use adhesives, epoxies, and silicone sealants correctly.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, contractors, and project managers.
- Follow OSHA safety guidelines and company safety procedures.
- Inspect completed installations to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.
- Complete installation paperwork and document any job-site issues.
Qualifications
- Previous experience installing granite, quartz, marble, or solid surface countertops preferred.
- Ability to read shop drawings and measurements.
- Experience using hand tools, grinders, polishers, seam setters, and lifting equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Ability to safely lift 100+ pounds with assistance and proper equipment.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and professionalism.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Comfortable lifting and maneuvering heavy stone materials using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Ability to climb stairs and navigate construction sites safely.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CNC-fabricated stone products.
- Forklift or material-handling equipment experience.
- Construction or carpentry background.
