Front Desk Receptionist – Orthodontic Office

We are seeking an energetic, compassionate, and highly organized Front Desk Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our orthodontic practice. As the first point of contact for our patients and families, you'll play an essential role in creating a positive, friendly, and professional experience from the moment they walk through our doors.

Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and families with warmth, professionalism, and a friendly smile.
- Check patients in and out while ensuring a smooth and efficient office flow.
- Answer and manage a multi-line phone system with excellent phone etiquette.
- Schedule new patient consultations and follow-up orthodontic appointments.
- Confirm appointments and assist with managing the daily schedule.
- Verify and update patient information, maintaining accurate electronic records.
- Assist with insurance verification, collecting payments, and discussing financial arrangements when needed.
- Utilize practice management software, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace for scheduling, communication, and administrative tasks.
- Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Support office operations through filing, data entry, inventory management, and general administrative duties.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering patient questions and helping create a positive orthodontic experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a front desk receptionist, administrative assistant, or customer service professional is required.
- Experience in a dental, orthodontic, or medical office is preferred but not required—we're happy to train the right candidate.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional phone etiquette and experience with multi-line phone systems.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy office.
- High attention to detail and accuracy with scheduling and patient records.
- Experience with dental or orthodontic practice management software is a plus.
- Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply.
