We are seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our team in Houston. The ideal candidate has experience fabricating and welding structural steel and miscellaneous metal components while maintaining high-quality workmanship and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and weld symbols
- Fabricate and assemble structural steel and miscellaneous metal components
- Perform MIG/FCAW welding on carbon steel
- Cut, grind, fit, and prepare materials for welding
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality and accuracy
- Operate fabrication equipment and hand tools safely
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of Welder/Fabricator experience
- Proficient in MIG and/or FCAW welding
- Experience reading blueprints and fabrication drawings
- Structural steel or heavy fabrication experience preferred
- Ability to use grinders, saws, measuring tools, and other shop equipment
- Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
- Ability to work overtime when needed
