We're looking for a reliable, hands-on person who doesn't mind doing a little bit of everything.
This is not one of those jobs where you do the exact same thing every day. One day you might be helping us install outdoor lighting or pressure wash a property. Another day you might be putting out yard signs, organizing inventory, picking up materials or taking care of a random project that needs to get done.
Basically, we need another set of hands and eventually want someone we can trust to say:
“Here's what we need to get done today.”
…and know it'll get handled.
What You Might Be Doing
- Help install, repair and remove Christmas lights
- Carry and move ladders, equipment and materials
- Assist with pressure washing, permanent lighting and landscape lighting jobs
- Set up and break down job sites
- Put out door hangers and yard signs
- Take before-and-after photos
- Organize inventory and supplies
- Keep trucks and work areas clean and ready
- Pick up materials and make occasional supply runs
- Help with other field and operations tasks as needed
- Whatever other miscellaneous field or operations work comes up
The work will change from week to week.
What We're Looking For
You don't need years of experience.
We're much more interested in someone who:
- Shows up on time
- Works hard
- Is physically capable of moving ladders and equipment
- Is comfortable working outside
- Is comfortable working from ladders and appropriate shallow roofs after training
- Has a valid driver's license
- Has a reliable vehicle
- Can use their vehicle for designated yard-sign routes
- Has common sense and learns quickly
- Is respectful and professional around customers
Construction, landscaping, roofing, pressure washing, lighting or other hands-on experience is a plus, but not required.
Pay & Hours
We are primarily looking for someone available Monday–Thursday during the day.
We would like to provide roughly 30-50 hours most weeks when the work is available, but hours will vary depending on our jobs, season, weather and workload.Some weeks may be busier than others.
Starting pay: $20/hour
Driving around and putting up yard signs: $25/hour (using your car - hence the $5 extra pay for gas and other associated costs)
There is room for increased pay and responsibility for someone who proves they are dependable, trustworthy and valuable to the team.
