Bay State Books is looking for a hard-working, reliable team member to help sort, move, and organize books in our busy book warehouse. What You’ll Do
- Sort, lift, and move large volumes of books throughout the warehouse
- Process, stack, organize, and stage books for listing and resale
- Build curated book sets (training provided)
- Scan and list books using handheld devices
- Keep workstations and shelving areas clean and organized
- Assist with inventory flow, book intake, and warehouse tasks
- Work closely with our team to improve speed and efficiency
What We’re Looking For
- Comfortable with physical labor: lifting 30–50 lbs, bending, standing, moving all day
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow a routine
- Detail-oriented and able to sort quickly and accurately
- Loves books or enjoys working with media (bonus if you like organizing sets)
- Able to learn simple technology like scanners, spreadsheets, and listing tools
- Works well independently and with a team
