Summary/objective
The Budtender/Sales Associate is responsible for providing an exceptional experience for all guests from the first greeting to welcome them to thanking them for their business upon the completion of their experience.
The ideal candidate should be well educated in cannabis knowledge including but not limited to: industry knowledge, strain differences, the effects of cannabinoids, types of terpenes, cannabis weight measurements, the growth process, physical effects on the body, THC versus CBD, concentrates, edibles, tinctures, types of devices to consume cannabis with, etc.
This is a part-time or full-time position on site in Burton, Michigan. After 90 days of employment, full-time employees are eligible for paid time off, health, dental and vision insurance.
This position requires nights & weekend availability.

· Computer literate with great communication skills.
· Friendly and engaging, ability to interact with numerous customers and provide a great experience.
· Cash handling, and cashiering.
· Cleaning, organizing, and merchandising the store.
· Answering phones and handling curb-side delivery of product as required.

Required education and experience
· High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred education and experience
· College Level Associates Degree or higher preferred or equivalent work experience.
Additional eligibility requirements
· Must be 21 years of age or older.
· Must relinquish caregiver status upon hire, if applicable.
Work authorization/security clearance requirements
· Must submit a criminal history background check before hire.
· Must report any new or pending criminal charges or convictions.
· Must not have been convicted of an offense involving distribution of a controlled substance to a minor.
