As a Pet Care Provider, you will support local pet parents by delivering top-notch, in-home care and dog walking services. If you enjoy working independently, love staying on the move, and prioritize pet safety above all else, you will fit right in.
What Your Day-to-Day Looks Like
- Active Dog Walking: Lead structured, safe neighborhood walks tailored to dogs of all shapes, sizes, and energy levels.
- In-Home Visits & Care: Visit client homes to manage feeding routines, refresh water, clean up pet areas, facilitate playtime, and safely administer routine medications.
- On-the-Go App Updates: Use our specialized mobile app to seamlessly check in/out of visits, snap fun photos, and send quick, reassuring updates directly to owners.
- Home & Pet Security: Secure client properties tightly during arrival and departure, ensuring the home remains safe and the pets stay completely stress-free.
Candidate Criteria
- Age & Experience: Must be 18 years of age or older with verifiable personal or professional animal care experience (e.g., previous pet industry roles, volunteering, or long-term pet ownership).
- Reliable Transportation: Valid driver’s license and daily access to a reliable, fully insured personal vehicle to travel smoothly between client locations.
- Tech-Ready: Own a modern smartphone with a dependable data plan to manage real-time scheduling, GPS navigation, and app communication.
- Physical Stamina: Comfortable walking several miles a day outdoors in whatever weather Texas throws at us, with the strength to manage larger, enthusiastic dogs.
- Professional Integrity: Exceptional punctuality, strong communication skills, and an observant, safety-first mindset.
- Clean Record: Willing to pass a comprehensive criminal background check before onboarding.
